PROBLEM

As of 2018, women make up 48% of the workforce. Despite qualifications, there is a large disparity between the percentage of women in the workforce and the percentage of women who hold leadership positions.

Only 23% of women hold senior executive titles and less than 10% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women. This problem is even more striking among women of color.

Women of color make-up ⅓ of all women in the workforce. In relation to leadership positions, only 5% of women of color hold Senior Executive titles and 0% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women of color.

WEBelieve's Leadership Pipeline works to close the leadership gap by providing women and girls with the social capital, professional development, and leadership skills necessary to connect with the women leaders of today and become the women leaders of tomorrow
